.scignore not working

Hi,

I’m having trouble getting sitecake to work on my server. Getting the error about “links not supported”. I have searched for the issue and found the solution to be the .scignore file, however it seems like it is not working for me. I have added the folders and links to exclude in .scignore and uploaded the file to my root, but the error is still there.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi

paths in .scignore should be relative to site root dir. directory paths should end with /. Make sure that there are no hidden dirs somewhere within site root dir (FTP clients sometimes doesn’t show hidden dirs/files). if nothing of this helps, can you send FTP details via PM so I can check it out?
