Mydomain/sitecake.php only downloads 'sitecake.php'

Hi,

I just now purchased Sitecake and uploaded it with a basic site to my hosting server.

I’ve added ‘sc-content’ to the elements I want to edit, but when I visit mydomain/sitecake.php my browser (chrome) only downloads the sitecake.php file, and nothing else.

I can’t find any issue on this in the forums, and I can’t seem to troubleshoot it further.

Ideas?

You need one index.html or index.php file. Do you have it?

It turns out the sysadmin hadn’t enabled PHP on that particular server.

Now this is awkward :grimacing: Let’s hope this thread can help someone in the future :slight_smile:
