Http://yourdomain.com/sitecake.php?page=whatever.html does not work

I have been experimenting with siitecake of several sites. Works great. I bought the paid version. Then on this one site it only works on the index.html page BECAUSE no matter how many times or ways I try to get to other than the index.html. It pops right back to index even though the url shows the secondary page. Site is test.mountebank.com. Here are screenshots:

Then try to go to actual essays.html, but edit bar disappears. Other sites, it doesnt.

Hi itlarry, try with page=assays.html not file=assays.html

Currently only links inside sc-nav container are turned into edit page links. This will be changed in next update.

Sitecake should’ve added automatically ?page=pagename.html to all links on the page outside editable zones when in edit mode. This will invoke Sitecake toolbar on all pages when browsing through the website. This is a bug and we already corrected it in 2.3.2. It will be released in a couple of days.

Until then use http://yourdomain.com/sitecake.php?page=pagename.html to access the page.

Moreover, we are considering adding silent update functionality to Sitecake. The same way Chrome browser updates. Of course with the possibility for roll back to previous version.

Thanks. Yes I do use page= not file= that was a brain burp in the example! Thanks. I will invoke 2.3.2 when it arrives.

For some reason, it works in itprolarry.com clean blog demo. But not in the first one. Got to be a code difference. But it does work manually.
