Cannot login, no prompt appears

Hello-

I’ve downloaded sitecake, moved the contents of my download into my root folder but when I go to /sitecake.php it only downloads the php file and does not prompt me to login.

I’ve got it setup here: https://pteops.github.io/new-site/

Check if you have index page. Go to docs and see other reasons for blank screen / error 500.

Could be a directory permission issue.

I’ve gone through these and cannot find one causing this.

Then please create a ticket and send us cPanel login.

I just saw that you are using Github pages for hosting. They do not support PHP. You need a hosting provider that supports PHP.

My suggestion is to go with A2host

You will not have problems with them and Sitecake.
