Can I use Sitecake v2 with PHP pages

I have a site that uses is Sitecake 1.0.41. I tried to find information on migration and specifically using Sitecake 2.2.x with .PHP pages without much luck.

If I just install 2.2.9 and run the sitecake.php file I get “File not found” errors as (I’m assuming) all of my pages are currently .php.

Are you aware of any documentation or tutorials or examples that would point me in the direction of getting this to work properly for me.

Sitecake v2 does not work with PHP pages any more. Sorry.

If you have existing website running with Sitecake v1, you will have to do these things to migrate:

  1. open each page of your website in web browser
  2. view page source and save it in website root with .html extension
  3. correct paths to resources, if needed
  4. put Sitecake v2 in website root
  5. start editing by opening http://yourdomain.com/sitecake.php
