Blank page or 500 error page

Hi,

Just installed sitecake 2.4.6 on my site and when I try to access the sitecake.php page, I just have a blank page (previously, it was a 500 error page).

I checked and gd and mbstring are both installed on my server.

The only configuration I see that could cause problems is:

  • I have php 7 (but I tried switching to 5.6 and it didn’t change anything);
  • I have https enabled (it redirects to https, so can’t use just http).

Can one of those two be the reason it doesn’t work?

Nelson

BTW, I can see in the demo and installation that you always have just index.html and the sitecake files… So, sitecake.php edits the index.html file… but what happens when you have many files and you want to edit another page than the home page?

Also, my site was done using Dreamweaver and I use a template that locks certain area of the page… Don’t think that could interfere with sitecake, but just in case…

Hi, can you send URL and sitecake password to in PM so I can check it out? Just click on my avatar and you should get ‘Message’ option

Same Problem here. Sitecake was working perfect (i’m super happy with this CMS).
After the new Update (i just uploaded the admin.php and the 2.4.6 Folder, like i always did before) i get the same “HTTP ERROR 500”. The Basic Website is working fine but after adding “/admin.php” to the URL the Error is there. So no chance to get to the Login Box.
I also tried to switch between different PHP Versions (didn’t change anything)
I don’t use https i use http so it should be not a https problem?!

I hope it’s a simple problem to solve but i have no idea what else i can try, i don’t wanna change something in the sitecake-code.

Edit:I use the “whitelabel” Version.

Sorry, don’t see a way to put a PM (clicking on your avatar only shows things about you)…

See on the right :wink:
