500 Internal Server Error When Viewing Admin Page?

Hey,

I’ve just uploaded the latest sitecake package to one of my clients’ websites, but it’s showing a 500 internal server error.

I’m using the whitelabel version if that helps.

Any help?

Hi James

Can you check which PHP-version your server is running? Also, do you have any entries in the error logs of your server?

Hey Brecht,

The server said it was running PHP version 7.0, but I contacted them to make sure and they said there was a line commented in the htaccess file which was downgrading it somehow. Anyway, it was all fixed after that entry in the htaccess file was deleted :slight_smile:
