I had Sitecake installed on my site and had some issues with it working. I eventually removed it completely and updated/re-installed version 2.4.8 on my site and am now getting a 500 error when trying to navigate to mywebsite.com/sitecake.php
Did you check requirements? Go to sitecake/2.4.8/config/requirements.php.
